Abbey; Am/Can CH Heather’s Nimrods True Abbey CD MT

Abbey was the total package…brains, beauty, and bitchy. Abbey is the foundation bitch for Soonipi Hounds. Abbey produced eighteen pups of which nine were champions, four were Group placing, and one Best in Specialty Show. Five of her pups received mantrailing titles, and four earned obedience titles. Abbey is in the ABC Brood Bitch Hall of Fame and in 1998 was Bloodhound Brood Bitch of the Year for AKC. Abbey was our Golden Girl.

CH Soonipi You Send Me

Zax was our first home grown champion and group placing dog. Zax was loved by his family and by his professional handler, Phil Nelson. And he loved them back. He was loyal and protective. Zax life was short but he taught us much about dogs and about people.

Beau; Soonipi’s Beauregard CD

Beau was our first bloodhound and first show dog. He never completed his Championship although he had 28 points…that last major was the rub! He did earn his CD in obedience with Parker in just three shows.

Bertha; Manors Lily of the Valley

Bert came to live with us at the age of three and spent ten wonderful years as part of our family. Bert can be found in the pedigree of many of the top bloodhounds. She was a remarkably type bitch with substantial presence. Bert was smart as a whip and sweet as the day was long.
